The Wild Scotland Team

Your team at Wild Scotland have all been working incredibly hard behind the scenes on behalf of the membership, to keep Wild Scotland at the fore and featuring across multiple channels. Our work whilst directly benefiting members, also promotes the wider outdoor sector as well as maintaining links with stakeholders and engaging with potential new members.

Julie Christie, Marketing and Membership Support

Julie joined the team in 2024 to provide administrative support to the Board, and her role has since shifted to focus on delivering marketing and membership support. Julie is the primary contact for our members, and manages our social media, website content, and member newsletters. Julie moved from Edinburgh to the stunning Cairngorms National Park with her husband in 2012, where they are raising their family in the freshest air you can imagine. When she's not busy supporting Wild Scotland, you can find her creating silver jewellery or exploring Scotland's beautiful places, especially the islands and coasts.

Cath Wright, PA to the Board

Cath has worked within Scottish Tourism for over 20 years with both Speyside Wildlife and Rothiemurchus Estate, she is also a Wild Scotland member with her own business, Highland Quietlife. She has had a relationship with Wild Scotland for over 15 years and knows many of the elements that make not only the wildlife and activities Scotland has to offer special, but also the uniqueness of Scotland as a destination in its own right. After three years on the Board, she now supports our current Board members in their roles and administration. Cath has always had a passion for best practice, collaboration and quality assurance. In 2020 she established her own business, Highland Quietlife. She is a qualified Nature and Forest Therapy guide and Life Coach operating within the Cairngorms. She is keen to ensure the outdoors is as accessible as possible for those who wish to enjoy it.
