Application forms for the Outdoor Activity Leader Training Course are below.

Applications are open now and close on 28th February. The assessment centre for this course is on 3rd March and the course begins on 7th March. As before, this course is free to access.

Apply to take part in a free week long Canal Skills Leadership Programme with Go Forth and Clyde!

Through the course you will learn lock-keeping, take an RYA accredited Inland Waterways Helmsman course, learn First Aid, communication skills and customer service skills. Successful completion of the course will also result in a guaranteed interview with Scottish Canals for seasonal and sessional roles at the Falkirk Wheel.

You will need to be available for an assessment centre on Tuesday 22nd February, and able to commit to a week’s training from 2nd March 2022. Protective kit will be provided.
